Discuss what you think this is and how they repaired the injury, this is at T11.Patient was a 45 year old physical therapist with life long history of working as PTA to PT. Actually a Flex DPT St Augustine graduate. Signs and symptoms of paresthesia, weakness, bowel and bladder abnormalities, dyscoordination were dismissed by primary care physician. Treatment was then performed by a OB/gyn, GI specialist, a and 2 long bouts of PT. Finally patient went to an emergency room visit. Emergency room doc ordered lumbar and thoracic MRIs, discovered the first attached picture. What was the diagnosis?. Patient sent to surgery the next day. Give me your best opinion on what this might be. All symptoms cleared post surgery.
